Talk on the national game

Power v Roos Preliminary Final

Postby Hondo » Mon Sep 17, 2007 12:06 am

Discussion has already turned to this game in the Eagles-Pies thread so time to start up a thread on it's own

This will be a tight game I think but I am leaning towards the Power at home
In between signatures .....

The Roos continue to surprise, Port will be favourites, but wont be easy. Its a 50/50 as far as i'm concerned.

Whoever plays a better game out of Chad Cornes and Harvey may dictate which team wins.

Both teams have far exceeded their expectations so far this season by a mile so it will be a Huge bonus for one of these teams to play off in the Big one next week.
The Power by virtue of the weeks rest and Home ground are obvious Faves but would want to get on top early and not play the pathetic crap they dished up in the 1st half against the weagles the other week.
Power by 21 points.

Everyone has grossly underestimated the Roos all year.. and are Port's bogey team... Interesting game..
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Im confident we can beat each team left in the comp. Whether we will is another question.

I think Port short rightfully start favourites. North without Jones will hurt them...he kicked 4 in a quarter against us earlier this year.

Should be an interesting battle.

Are you suggesting it's only players that form part of a club?

Can't see the Roo's beating Port this week, however that dogged and spirited factor that they carry means you can never write them off ... Would be surprised if they progressed to the Granny though.

We have enough toilet paper so the 'tiser wasn't required today. What does it say?
