Okay Hondo, Burton's still a bl**dy terrible player in my eyes. For all of the reasons listed above.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Has played some very good games (and a few poor ones) since his debut. All up a good career, in hindsight I think the Crows probably wish they delisted him after last season however.

Sorry mate, I disagree. His ability as a 'match winner' and 'game breaker' has been sorely over rated over the years.

Wholeheartedly agree DW. He is ordinary. Never does the team thing either.
Plus his face looks like melted cheese.

I heard on Fox Sports on Sunday that Mark Blake is approaching 100 games with the lowest effective kick ratio of anyone to play 100 games. I think he is averaging less than 1 effective kick a game, over the journey so far.

could be right. although it would make sense, considering he's averaging 2.5 kicks a game (over 86 games)

If Blake was a midfielder, fair enough, but how do his ruck stats add up?

Geelong hat fairly and quarely on my head with The Gazelle... ;)

Have X or R Clarke got to 100 games yet. They'd win.

He is the worst 100 game player then. He is so lucky to be playing for Geelong, I think he counts his lucky stars everyday.

you do have a point there when his stats are compared to other ruckmen. unfortunatly i can't get and efficienty on them, which was RB's main argument i think but here is a few key stats compared to a ruckman that in my opinon is average (Josh Fraser) and an elite (Aaron Sandilands)

BLAKE (86 games)
2.5 Kicks, 6.7 HB, 19.3 H/O, 2.7Marks

FRASER (197)
8.8 Kicks, 5.3 HB, 11.6 H/O, 4.8 Marks

SANDILANDS (142)
5.2 Kicks, 7.2 HB, 26.1 H/O, 3.8 Marks

CHIEF !!! Great club man though is Wiggo !

I'd have him in our side over half the blokes ATM.....

Agreed. Put's his body on the line. I guess I was looking at it from a skills point of view.

Agree with the essence of no "terrible" player playing 100 games ... If we are talking overrated, then IMHO big Brendan Gale was always in that category.

If you knew anything about Richies background and what he has overcome to make it on a list let alone play games of AFL footy, you'd re-think that statement.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I think Sandilands' figures will keep rising while Fraser's will be on the way down.
He is by far the best ruckman in the game at the moment. His physical presence is amazing.

Just because he might have had a rough background doesn't make him any better a player.
