I never thought I'd be writing those words but yes I love Port Adelaide! Ever since the Power won their premiership back in 2004 the Power have brought nothing but good things to the Geelong Footy Club.
In 2007 when we'd won a zillion games in a row the Power kindly knocked us off at Cat Park in a loss that in hindsight we badly needed. Then came the Grand Final which I waited my whole life for. It was also back in 2007 when the Cats cleaned up Port at AAMI to lay that particular bogey to rest.
Since that day whenever Geelong look a bit wobbly we've had a match against the Power which has played us into form. Whenever the Cats look like turning into a 'where are the goals coming from' side along comes the Power and hey presto we are back in town.
The Cat attack is on once again so on behalf of Cat fans everywhere I say a big thank you to Port!

They also gave us a premiership captain and kindly overlooked Joel Selwood in the 2006 draft
