Talk on the national game

I think the crows should have tried to develop at least obst as a key forward. They seem to bve down on talls and yet are off loading some of the younger un tried talls on there list.

Why would any club trade player X for player Y if player Y is not going to add to your list?

In other words the Crows knew they were going to delist Skipworth, and mooted trade wasn't going to add to their list i.e. would not be in the Crows top 35 players, why do the deal???

No matter what happened in that scenario Skipworth or his potential trade was going to get de-listed.

That is my reading of the situation which I admit not being close to the action could be quite wrong!!!!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I was thinking more of draft picks? surely the crows could advance one of their picks if they traded with a lower based side? yeah im not sure, im over it. just thought the crows didnt treat the lad the best, but thats AFL i suppose.

Stan

In regards to the crows developing Obst in to a key forward, over the years we have attempted to turn so many defenders in t forwards, I rather have an extra pick in the draft and target a young forward

Dutchy

I seen Edwards play earlier in the year and I was hoping the crows might have a crack at him, he can play

I admit, the crows have not been successful in drafting and devloping key forwards

hopefully this draft can turn that poor record around
