Hentschell is as important to the Crows structure as the other 3 players, he straightens us up, has been the go to man up forward and he takes the oppositions main tall defender

Reading that was 20 seconds of my life I'll never get back.

Are you one of the many jumping on the Crows bandwagon now after your SANFL team has packed up for the year?

So who are the other two out of Goodwin, Bassett, Johncock, Edwards, Rutten, Hart and Thompson????

Hentschell is over rated - flash in the pan games but never strings a consistent season together

Doesn't seem to be much middle ground for people when it comes to Henschel, he's either a gun or overrated ... Personally I think he's an excellent player who should in reality, be attracting the 3rd best defender instead of the oppositions best, but has still performed well against some great defenders ... He can play tall and small and isn't slow, and has natural instinct near goal, a very good player imho.

I wouldn't necessarily say he's in the Crows best 6, but perhaps if the question was the most IMPORTANT 6, the answer might be different.

I think your comments are spot on CP, certianly don't think Henschell is in our top six players (Ruccitio, McLoed, Goodwin, Edwards, Burton, Rutten, Johncock & Bassett) vie for those spots. However he is extremely important as one of our key forward talls. His rotation with Perrie/Bock/McGregor (whoever is playing forward) are very important to stretching the opposition defence and giving options to the midfielders:

1. go to a medium leading forward (welsh/Roo),
2. kick it long for a tall option for the kick & catch or bring it down to ground for the small crumbing forward
3. leading forward around CHF to hand off to a running midfielder for the running goal......this doubles as creating space option by dragging a defender out of the forward 50.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
