James Moss

What does everyone else think about this young lad? IMO he's a gem, destined for promotion to the senior list at some stage. One of the best marks for his height going around, as we all know he's got a thumping and penetrating kick.

Sorry FD88, you're wrong about this one.

Phew.

He's got good size, about 188cm and he's mainly a half back flanker. I think he could push into the midfield though but at least at this stage he looks suited to being a rebounding defender with excellent skills and strength overhead.

He's really starting to fill out now aswell, I think he'll be a prominent player for the Dogs in 09. I think they'll move him around the ground a bit more this year too, he didn't spend much time in his junior years in defence. He'll probably grow a little more too, his old man is a big unit.

James will be a good player for many years. Once he starts to build his body into a man and start getting a bigger engine i can see him playing AFL...
He is still only 19 so to already have a League flag under his belt is a massive achievment. A little hard work and i can see it all happening for him.

Agreed, he's bulked up quite a bit and fitness is now the main issue. I hear his fitness is (well, at least was) pretty average. Hopefully the AFC are addresssing that problem because I can see him becoming a pretty successful player.

Moss had a hip operation a few weeks back. The AFC said it had been causing him troubles for quite some time. It's a good thing that he's had it done now and he'll be back by about Round 6-8. Hopefully he can get into the Dogs league side at some stage. I'd hate to think this is what ruins his AFL aspirations but hopefully the operation is a sign that the Crows rate him and want him around. With the AFL draft being "comprimised" this year clubs will get fewer selections. I think quite a few rookies will be upgraded, hopefully Mossy is one of them.

Good modist lad with a lot of potential. Hard to predict how he would adapt to the elite level but definatly worth a gamble. Could be another unlikely star eg. Porpa, Vince.
