The Artist who created the Premiership posters has passed away today aged 85.

Grand Final day won't be the same without his iconic posters being on sale straight after the
Grand Final....

Wont be able to do the rest of the dynasty though..

Glad I got mine from this season..just a major part of the premiership celebration will now be missing :(

Yeah I grabbed 2 on the Sunday after the game- one is to be framed, the other to be hopefully autographed by the 22 at some stage...

RIP, at least I got 3 premiership ones for Brisbane.
FWIW he is listed as 75 not 85.

True story
In 2005 WEG found a burglar in his house and after a short struggle he got away.
WEG drew his own idenikit picture and the bad guy was caught the next day.
An institution has bit the dust.

Im glad the Swannies won a flag before he passed away, i have numbered poster 900# out of 1000, and a block mounted poster of the 2005 premiership. Will be missed.
My drinking club has a cricket problem!

Last week in Melb they had a weg tribute poster with mostly Vic clubs posters wasnt to bad and they gave them away for free.
