I won $150, put money on the Hawks in May!

If $150 is more important to you than your team winning back to back flags then I'll be surprised, how you can be happy Im not sure.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

The Hawks made sure that the game was being played on their terms by putting extreme pressue on the Cats all day long. During the second term the Hawks hung tough when the Cats were on top and managed to kick crucial goals at a time when the Cats were missing them.

The flag was won in the third term when the Hawks got a shot of belief and started slotting a few majors. When the Hawks were in the ascendency they converted. When the Cats were in ascendency they did not. However, the period of Cat ascendency was much shorter than that of Hawthorn's and they ran out deserving winners in the end.

BTW, Stewie Dew: Too old, too fat, too slow...TOO GOOD. What a masterstroke by coach Clarkson!

Is this a retraction of the "Hawks have got ahead of themselves and it wont be for the 1st time this year" ,"Franklin and his 100 goal season has distracted them.......D**kheads","Clarkson laughing in the box what a tool" and many others to be researched crap you have served up this year pal?? .. Gezzzzzzzz by the tirade of tripe you have dished out all year mate regarding Hawthorn you must be hurting real bad and I mean real bad. I dread to think of the size of the chip now this monster slice of hurt has been added to the growth.

REB has had his fair share of cracks at the Hawks but lets remember he has reason to have a dislike for our mighty club. 1989 and now 2008 :D Credit where it's due though REB has been very gracious in defeat and is not hiding away like i would be doing  Good on him.
