What a joke that Nick Riewoldt was named CHF ahead of Jonathon Brown.
39 goals to Riewoldt
70 goals to Brown

Something very wrong with that picture.

Looking at impact and the future, I'd take Riewoldt over Brown for the Crows, if either were available...
I'd take Pavlich over Brown too.

I think Brown and Bradshaw both played closer to goal than Riewoldt and therefore the naming was right, however,Franklin plays across half forward more than people perhaps picture and I would have named him at CHF and Fev at FF.

The thing I found most interesting was that only three of the players named have been at more than one club.
Is that normal?

Judd - WCE/Carlton
Medhurst - Freo/Collingwood
Harley - Port/Geelong

Don't the selectors now just shove the Coleman Medalist at FF? Saves them having to think a bit more.

I think Brown is a better player than Riewoldt, but I think picking Riewoldt was the right call. The impact he has had on his side this year has been much more than Brown's, despite Brown kicking 60 odd goals. Picking a CHF shouldn't just be based on goals kicked, think Riewoldt was #1 in the AFL for contested marks which IMO should have a fair bearing on the decision.

Unbelievable effort from Pavlich to make 6 of the last 7.

Can anyone tell me if there were any players that made the All Australian team that did not get a guernsey in the Vic v All Stars game this year??

We can count out those that didnt play due to injury..

The AA team is always a waste of time. The only thing that matters is premierships. All this other crap is nonsense, and just something to give the media to write about.
