Everyone tries to be a comedian at least once in their life.

Hopefully this is your turn out of the way so you can put it behind you an move on to something other than trying to be a funny man, which you are clearly NOT.

Oh Magoo, you've done it again. Cripes a bit touchy out Alberton way aren't they. Don't worry boys you'll be back in the eight next year.

Pretty fair reaction IMO M80's.

Port lost only 5 games by a margin of more than 20 points. So after losing 10 games by 20 or less, the first things that spring to mind are physical fitness and mental toughness.

The latter was scrutinised by every man and his dog this year and now Comerford has paid the price for the former. I'm not normally one to criticise Choco, but surely he would have seen the signs if the boys weren't fit enough? Or maybe he did, but by then it was too little, too late?

Oh what I would give to have Burgess back!!!

On that note though, what exactly does he do for the Socceroos? They come almost exclusively from huge European clubs that would have the world's best fitness advisors and pay a fortune seeking new techniques in training methods etc. So presumably, the players generally come back to the Socceroos squad fully fit, as if they didn't, they wouldn't have been getting a gig for their club?

well his repalcement has been in the job for less than 12 months so a pretty tough gig for the bloke.

Surely Burgess' main role would be with the underage sides and then when the big boys are in camp to maintain the fitness levels they already have

Pretty tough i reckon a bloke has less than 7 months in the job and gets demoted?

Gee he missed most of the time (Nov, Dec and Jan) when you do the foundation work to build a base for the season.

Scapegoat anyone?
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
