Or perhaps the AFL's making a stand because Essendon weren't willing (orginally?) to have an alternate guernsey but are quite happy to add a touch of yellow for their own reasoning.

The AFL's problem here is probably where does it stop and they may have set guidelines. (Im unsure, just putting up the point)

SHAME AFL SHAME, what f**k wits are running the game these days if the AFL wanna make stand they should start by making a certian black and white team use an alternate strip and if they don't well double the fine they gave Essendon for helping a team mate through difficult times.

I just thought that instead of every one arkin up to the AFL that all clubs should wear the arm bands in the next round !!!

Now that would be a statement !!!!
It is what it is !!!

I heard this news today and well im not sure the AFL are going about it the right way. They fine money will go to cancer that is simply a means to control the damage that fining them will do. Thats all it is. Someone said the following round all clubs should wear a yellow arm band to make a stand. Trust me the AFL would be happy to fine them all. Thats what there about.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

It's about an AFL power trip for mine, and that alone ... Governing bodies like them, FIFA etc., put their ego's in place and when people go against them they spit the chewy.

One day they might think of becoming a body that people look up to and agree with/abide by out of RESPECT!

Only when it can make them more money,CP.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.
