Every time I hear Nick Stevens speak, I feel like grabbing some bog roll to clean up the utter shite that plops out.

I would have put more blame on the lame arse player who didn't attack the ball and waited for it, one of the Burgoynes I think it was.

One of the Burgoynes ?????
How hard is it to work out which one it was when there was only 1 playing in the match, DERRRRR

I think you are mistaking Wedgie's case of **** with stupidity. The second composite SA side is just that irrelevant.

Season over.

When these blokes are watching 8 other teams swanning around in September they can think of the two home games where they entered the final 1/4 6 or more goals up in wet conditions and lost. Not good enough, and all Port fans have the right to be pissed off.I know I am.

18 blokes out there for the last 30 minutes and Im not sure how many of them were busting their balls as hard as Stevens and Simpson were for Carlton.

Pissed off.

Valid Booney! There does seem to be a "That's a big enough lead we can sit on that." mentality somewhere.

agreed, Kay Enn Owe Bee that bloke. Pharken hate the bloke. For a guy who runs wide and gains easy possessions, 63% efficiency is not good enough. Especially at circa 500k per season.

I thought the major mistake they made was tagging the wrong bloke. Tagging Stevens helped US! Not having your best tagger on Judd was mistake no.1 IMO.

Back to topic...... I don't think Port are choking or imploding. They just forgot what got them to the position they were in at 3/4 time and went too defensive. A mate of mine (Essendon supporter - so obviously not that close a mate) said that they just stopped running forward, they became hesitant, second guessed and tried to protect their lead. I don't think that means a team chokes, I think it means that they become scoreboard focussed. Focussed on the fact that they're in front and instead of thinking "play the same way" they think "we'd better protect that lead". Whether that's something the coaching staff focus on I don't know, but obviously what they're doing this year is either different or not working with some of the playing group (for unknown reasons). Just my 2 cents.

Good on Reg who was on 5AA this morning who said the commentators were biased toward Carlton (Dwayne Russell was one apparently) and said that they didn't know more than 4 of the Port players names cos they were so biased. Listened to Steven Rowe and co Reg????

Gee lucky they didn't call the new bridge down at Port Adelaide the Power bridge, otherwise is would only go three quarters the way across and then just stop.

Also heard that they were thinking of naming the new Hybrid Power cars after Port Power, but then they realised that the cars could not make the distance of any travelling and would conk out only after three quarters of a tank.

Gee perhaps the power need to spend more time sending that great Power mechanical arm around before the match with the supporter of the week, gee that is so impressive, a giant mechanical arm holding a lightning bolt, you would think the players would not be able to play well in the 1st quarter, not the last as they would be laughing so hard.

Time for a culture change one thinks down at the Port. cant live on the old times in this day and age, the old Port culture worked in the SANFL, however this is new age football different trends, different marketing, different culture needed.

By the way, make your mind up Port, is it 125 years or 11 years in the comp, which one is it to b e, does the Power have 125 years history or 11 years history and is a new entity, make your minds up then you may be able to go ahead in the AFL.
