Everyone is CARP in 2008

Postby Rik E Boy » Sat May 31, 2008 12:57 pm

Let's face it. Everyone is carp in 2008.

Adelaide: Have now stunk up the place with two successive stinkers. Starting to reel in the carp at West lakes.

Brisbane: Lost to West Coast FFS. How carp is that?

Carlton: End of story. Should be called Carpton.

Collingwood: Lost to Carlton. How can a club with so much cash be so carp.

Essendon: A seriously shocking side and the barometer that measures carpness in 2008.

Fremantle: A culture of carp.

Geelong: Totallay carp. Played one game all year.

Hawthorn: Undefeated carpness. Their true carpness is yet to come. I believe it will be a doozy.

Kangaroos: Dull carp. And lucky carp at that.

Melbourne: Are they still in the competition?? Just plain old carp.

Port: Softhearted carp but hey Choco is satisfied so expect a bit more.

Richmond: So carp that when they lose there is a positive vibe around Carp Road.

St Kilda: Over a century of carp and counting....

Sydney: A truly ugly carp to watch!

West Coast: More carp than they have ever been but hey at least nothing fishy is going on this year.

Western Bulldogs: About to carp out. Anyone who draws with the Tigers still has high levels of carpness.

This year those teams are damaging the brand. To prepare for the immeninent expansion of the league in 2010 I propose that we need to put a stop to carp football and cancel the remainder of the program with great reluctance and go into hiatus for 2009. In a totally fair and reasonable compensation package the 2008 and 2009 premierships should be immediately awarded to Geelong. The mythical Hawthorn vs. Geelong match as written up in the Hun the other week can serve as the 2008 and 2009 Grand Finals and lost revenue can be recouped by producing a Computer generated match that is sold for millions to TV networks.

If you must actually watch the game..attend your local SANFL matches.

problem solvered. Move over Andy D, it's time to pay REB thousands to save your league.

regards,

REB

Nice summary REB, perhaps the AFL should incorporate the carp into its emblem?

Don't these mongrel fish pollute the Murray?
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.
