AFL TIPPING COMPETITIONS st kilda vrs fremantle

POINT ALLOCATION.

Fremantle is declared the winner.

What happens to all the tipping comps I am in ?

Is it deemed one point for a FR tip
Or deemed as a draw.

I would presume its a point for a Fremantle tip.

PS I am a Saints barracker and justice prevails.

That will be up to whoever runs your comp mal. I reckon first the Dockers, now the Saints are stiff. A no win situation. It wasn't St Kilda's fault that a draw was the initial result and now the AFL have created a disturbing precedent to award the points to Fremantle. It was the just decision, but maybe not the right one. The draw should have stood.

The guy who was in the paper yesterday will be angry. He needed a Freo win 1-12 to get over $30k (I think) and the result was a draw. Now that it's been changed to a win for Freo, TAB Sportsbet won't pay him out - as they have already paid out winnings for a draw and they can't pay two results in one game.

If I was him I would be making a call to the AFL straight away and make good friends with a pushy journalist who wont let it go away.

Maybe he should contact Rucci, & explain that it goes back to a conspiracy against Port Power, & watch him ruffle feathers then.

For $30k its probably worth taking legal action. Maybe against the AFL for negligence?

Well considering the AFL is a partner (?) of TAB Sportsbet (and betfair) you'd think that would be a good option!!

In the comp I run a draw is no points- no-one won, so it was easy to adjust for a Freo win as only 4 people out of 28 in the comp picked them.
