ok, Wayne Carey has succeeded Leigh Matthews as the greatest VFL player of all time.
Barrie Robran is easily the best SANFL player of all time.
Who was the better footballer of the two- Robran or Carey? :-k

With a little more luck, he could've won a few Brownlows, but will be remembered as a perennial bridesmaid.

Well yes i probably did go a bit overboard there, i accept that.

Certainly wouldn't have him in top 50 of all time though.

Seen Carey never seen Barrie but from what I have heard I would say Barrie. But what annoys me is there was four champions who won three Brownlow's and they didn't make the top 10
