I think the fact that this so called data showed Geelong had only the 7th best midfield in the league shows exactly how useful it is. :?

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

And also had Richmond as equal #1 for forwards? Along with Melbourne? Obviously the stats people love Richo & Neitz...

Stupid article and I regretted wasting valuable eyesight energy this morning reading it on the train coming into work.

atleast Richo tries, Neitz is a waste of space, im suprised he has been playing for the last 3 years.....

LMAO. Neitz has played 300 matches and in those games he has kicked over 600 goals for a club that has been a rabble every second year during his career. The Power should be so lucky to have a player like him. Perhaps one day a Portonian will scale those lofty heights but it hasn't happened yet.

Agree, Neitz a class act. Has been a great player for a long period of time. Has carried alot of injuries in recent years too. Great leader, great player.

Wrong answer! The Power have 22 players with whom he would swap each and every goal. They have a premiership medal!

(Footnote-Neitz is a fantastic player and leader. When REB has a crack at a fellow Portonian I cant help myself  )

there is no doubt he WAS a great player but im just saying that he is way past his due by date and should have retired. he has had a sh1t load of injuries and hasn't been performing as well as he used to. i also found it strange that Melbourne appointed him captain again. Neitz could come out and prove me wrong and have a stellar season, but as far as im concerned, him playing, its pointless.....

Certainly is not pointless.

Who would you rather see at FF? Newton, Johnson, Robbo? None are really feasible options at the moment. Newton is being groomed for the CHF position, Johnson is not good enough and Robbo is in between a small forward and a KPP. He may have his injuries but is one of Melbournes greatest ever and still has something to contribute to their side and that is why he is still playing.

the wonder elephant wrote:just read an article in the tiser that says the crows have the worst ruck division in the afl .now i know this article is based on the afl prospectus put out by champion data but it also has collingwoods rucks rated equal no 1 so the point is i dont think this is a true indicator as the crows rucks smashed collingwoods on sat night so dont belive all of what is written. sure we have inexperience to deal with but there is a big upside to this with a lot of improvment to come with these young fellas this year .i would at least rank the crows rucks over that of richmond, carlton and st kildas ...thoughts boys and girls ?

Well if it was in the tiser...........

Look the crows rucks stocks might be a bit raw but they'll given plenty and wouldnt say they are the worst. At stage I would say Carltons is the worst. Of course they have the mighty Kruzer, but come on hes raw or more raw than the crows players and well Ackland, well now some of us would get more hit outs than him.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards
