Should be -even if you just bought tickets on the night, you probably wouldn't have any problems getting reasonably good seats.

You should be able to find a map of the ground (from the Ticketek site I'd say).
There's plenty of public seating areas from memory -just ring up and book when they go on sale.

Footy at the Gabba is great*

*unless you are a hawks fan and sit there for 4 quarters getting your ass handed to you by 90+ points

I went last year in august to watch the swans and brisbane game , bought tickets at the gate, it was nearly a sell out ( best crowd of the year) $55 dollars for an adult in row Y in the Stanley street end. Despite being so far back, a very good viewing ground, and a great atmosphere, no d**kheads

Best part was being able to take a plastic stubby of Carlton Cold back to your seat (twas a night game too).

BD, I know someone up there who may be able to help with tickets for you.
I'll see what I can do...

I've seen a few games at the Gabba when I've been in Brisbane at the right time to catch one. Would suggest a mid-tier seat - ie not the lowest level nor the uppermost level. There are two screens from memory which helps as well for replays etc. A great ground for footy - a bit like a gladiator arena now the old social club is gone.

Be honest though, you just want to support the female goal umpire at the Gabba!
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.
