Rankine - See everyone we are taking a stand against homophobia (4 weeks)
Walker - See everyone we are taking a stand against racism (6 weeks)
Xerri - See everyone we are taking a stand against ...oh wait no opportunity to virtue signal (3 weeks)
Trying to compare this incident to racism and homophobia, incredible.
We are not really as it’s worse. You are only saying this as it’s a North player.

What would anger you more?
A: Your lad coming off the footy field telling you someone called him a poof.
B: Your lad coming off the footy field telling you someone wiped blood on his face.

If we are talking about the amount of blood X did then, definitely A. While I get the risks, I think they are much lower than we first thought when the blood rule came in years ago, look at UFC, Rugby etc where they play on with blood and there wasn't enough blood on X for the umpires to send him off.
*I have a very personal reason for hating homophobic slurs and Im probably a bit over sensitive to it.
And again, not excusing what X did, it was stupid.

My eldest got called a poof a couple of years ago.
"Yeah I am, what of it?" (he's not, by the way)
"Oh, umm, ah, right, shit..."
Opponent then watched him run around like a lost dog for the next five minutes, totally threw him off his game.
However, if he got blood deliberately wiped on his face, I would imagine the opponent would have a much more considerable blood flow afterwards.

He tackled a much bigger lad last season in a trial and once the ball left the area the player was in his grill and said "I'm going to f******* kill you".
Son says "no worries, I suffer from depression anyway so you'll be doing me a favour".
A little over zealous for any match, not just a trial, the dumb thing is that the opposition club ask my lad each year to go out there and he has a heap of mates there but wouldn't give it a minutes thought due to that one idiot.

I played about 300 games and was called a college poof in about 298 of them
Harden the **** up
As for blood smear - I probably would have got off at the tribunal in the old days
Thinking about it - If I was sitting on a tribunal now, I would probably let the player off for a response within reason. C*** act

That's a good pub test question.

If it was a Port or Adelaide player you’d be wanting a public hanging
