Reckon I’m old enough to say this…

I remember a time when Essendon were good at footy….

Umm hang on, I’ve put Mayo on that….

I remember a time when Essendon were ok at footy..
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

Would that be the quickest use of the Sub in history, 26 seconds

Just unlucky for McLean, don’t think the GWS defenders did much wrong.

Are Carlton and Essendon both at Fitzroy 1990s levels I terms of relevance?
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Can’t believe commentators had a crack about the scheduling of this round.

Would have thought 15000 to a Sydney derby on a Friday night was NRL like. Add the ripper at Marvel plus last nights blockbuster and you can understand why Port and Adelaide don’t have their own time slot.

The only difference is we are both solvent but talent wise yeah we are below Fitzroy.
At least now the penny has dropped it seems and we are going to try a proper rebuild for once but I’m not sure I’ll see us decent again in my lifetime. Good thing is I tune out after we lose and don’t watch other games or attend other games anymore and found much better things to do with my time

Nah.

Fitzroy 1990s were way more relevant.
