They would look at him because they have problems up forward but if you compare Chambers to Gill there's about 3-4 years in age and Gill has a great aerobic capacity and is able to run all over the ground, while Chambo is more of a hard leading pack crasher staying inside F50, I think the AFL clubs look at the runners a bit more. Still I'd like to see him get a go out of interest.

They probably should take a punt for the right pick, but you never know, the backlash from members on their Hart and Torney decisions could sway them off

Last time we plucked the leading goal-kicker out of the SANFL = Adam Richardson :shock:

That plus Brodie Atkinson ..... not convinced on picking older players out of the SANFL its a big step up to AFL

Nick Gill an obvious exception but is younger and has size and speed on his side

Was Richo fit at the time? Chambo was pretty trim this season and I think he'd do a better job than what Richo did, but his age is still an issue. It's a good point that CP made about the backlash. It's a pity that Chambo didn't have the season he had this year a few years ago, then he might've got a gig.
