No-one gave them a look in from the media of making the top 8, as much as I dislike them and their coach, they did a damn fine job to get where they got, sure they were belted on the day but looking at the way Geelong played yesterday I think the result would have been similar against most sides. Williams did a fine job this year, have to remember he blooded a lot of kids during the year as well. In the wash up, I am sure that they are more than happy with their season and williams coaching, they failed in one game really, just so happens it was the big one
