I thought Massie has been excellent for the Crows the last few weeks?

Hinge interestingly got a run in the Bays midfield last week and went well, wouldnt be too far off I would think, worth another year

If there are no retirements this year, whats the next 2 years going to hold? could be 5-6 minimum go and leave a big gaping hole

Sellar is a chance to win a flag this year.....in the top of the table Glenelg reserves

I thought Massie was excellent on Sunday. Hinge won't be delisted as he's a solid player who'll get the job done week in, week out. Sounds similar to a few of our current guys, but at least he's young.

Dutchy, I have only seen Hinge on limited occassions, couple times live, the majority on Fox SANFL game of the week....

I do believe Hinge has certain qualities that enable him to be a good footballer at AFL level, however, 1 game in 3 years is not a solid case to retain your spot....

I would like to see 5-6 other players let go before they start looking at Hinge

Perhaps thats part of the problem at West Lakes Syd, there's almost a public perception similar to the Aussie cricket team in recent years of "It's harder to get out of the Crows team than it is to come in".

I know Hinge has faced injuries at various times in the last 3 seasons, but the Crows obviously aren't premiership material with the tried and tested cattle so why aren't they giving these kids more opportunity to develop at the highest level? There's only so much development that can occur at SANFL level, the rest needs to come in the premier comp imho, this is where Port have shone

totally agree, the other frustration is we keep hearing from Craigy that he needs players which offer more flexibility, well Hinge has played forward, back and midfield for the bays

Agree mate, he has the makings of a versatile footballer, so the club really needs to find out whether he's capable or not at that level.

Yes, and It is about time they both selected players by fitness and form rather than by name and popularity.

Its hard to know, my guess is they're auditioning him for a potential trade, but then again if he shows himself to be up to the standard of AFL they may want to keep him. Hard to know what the gentlemen up at West Lakes are thinking sometimes.
