SHOWDOWNS

Well the under dogs of both showdowns got up and won so what does that tell us
On any given day of any Showdown SA or WA it depends on that day how many players of any of the teams bring their pride guts and demenination with them to the game.

Obviously it was Adelaide and The Dockers this week

As a Port fan I think if Power were to even think of playing in a Grand Final they would have had to show their colours agaist the Crows and thumped them, we know they have the players and the skill to do it,but if they are going to fall apart with a bit a local pressure it's going to be hard.

Choko didn't help not resting Lade, I noticed ever time the Crows got the ball they tried to belt the ball to their end even if there wasn't Crows player there, at least it was down their end.

On the other hand whether it was coaching or the players decissions they insisted in short kicking and hand passes that were continued to be inter-cepted.

I don't except the weather as an excuse football is a winter sport for both teams, Brogan dropped out 5 minutes before the start? well that was a loss, BUT it's not that we haven't got enough skilled players to give Laid a rest.

Disappointed
RIP my DH 1964 - 2009 - You were one of the best and I miss you
