Another Draw

I was watching the online scoreboard, Nick Riewoldt must have got a point right on the siren to tie the game.

Ironic that channel 7 showed highlights of round 9 in 2000 when the doggies stormed home to pinch victory by a point against the then winless saints. Looked like history would repeat. if it wasnt for that lucky(?) torp from Gram, we would have walked away with nothing. Not that 2 points will do much. If brisbane win they will jump both teams tonight

The ball didnt hit the post at 3/4 time.

The doggies will be ruing the fact that they rushed about 4 or 5 behinds which were all quite avoidable imo.

Terrible result for St Kilda :(

Initially so did I, but it’s not conclusive IMO.

The last camera angle they showed after the game shows the ball definately did not hit the post

it qualified as a system bet in my DOOM system but both teams had played the last 2 weeks on the DOOM so I didnt know which team to fade/lay, so I joked I should back the draw

Must admit I was undecided when trying to choose this match, thought I would use the DOOM system and when I realised both teams failed under the DOOM system I just went with a toss of the coin.

What I cant understand is if we all could not pick the winner
using the DUTCHYDOOM system why not back the WB at $3-75
you still get half the div and make a profit

Whattabout the disallowed point to WB at 3/4 time
Well all I can say is that unallowed point made NOSTRAduthyAMUS look like a genuis [again]

I still cant get over DUTCHY picking a DRAW in March
Im jealous so its my turn for a prediction GE to beat RI today

Because I wasn't putting money on the game and was merely trying to work out who to tip for footy tipping comps I thought it natural to go with the short price fav, ie St Kilda.

Well done to Brad Johnson when interviewed straight after the game. It was the 1st time i've heard a player have something positive to say after a Draw.
Usually the players carry on like sooks as if the world is coming to an end. They all seem to be more positive about a 2 goal Loss than a draw. HELLO Idiots, a Draw is 1/2 a Win which is better than a loss any day.
Also if i hear a Commentator make the "Dancing with your sister" remark describing a Draw again i'm going to get pissed off even more. If having to watch a Crap Game (last nights) with over officious umpires is not frustrating enough, we then have to hear all the old cliches rolled out again by those boring as batshit commentators. FFS! Tim Watson, he's the worst - Couldn't Coach, Can't commentate. :butthead: :vom:

I'm that far behind in one of my tipping comps I picked a draw .. Woohoo .. 10 points for that and Im now equal leader! :D

Just to make the result even sweeter, my mate who I share a punting account with put $1.67 on Aker kicking first goal into a draw, returned just over $500.00! :D :D :D

Cheers Jim .. I had a little nibble on them at 40+ .. My mate reckons that even with a draw, at Centrebet all the Multi's remain alive .. I wouldn't have thought so, but that would be another bonus! :)
