Crows will miss the 8

Adelaide will not play finals this year... too many other teams around the mark keep winning. Cant win at home, and will finish 10th or 11th.

You'd better post it on the Gambling Room too

I'm no crow hater...far from it. They are in eighth spot.. followed by Bulldogs, Freo and Saints. Finals are gonna be a close call.

LBT was just stirring you up ... my infamous final 8 predictor has them finishing 5th or 6th because we have a good run home. Top 4 looks out of reach barring a form-slump by Haw or Collingwood.

It's not as tho we are getting blown out of the water by the top sides and, frustratingly, we have shown some great form away from home.

Bulldogs and Freo and Kangaroos have tougher runs home

But who knows?

The Crows would be unlikley to miss the finals, yet nothing is ever certain in football!

My concern with the Crows is that the team this year does not seem as good as last year. Assuming the Crows make the finals, the idea is to win them, on current form I am concerned to say the least about them being knocked out early.

Still, finals experience also does seem to matter, so there is no reason the Crows couldent on that basis grab at least the first win.

Yes because the fearsome units that Freo and st.kilda are means they will storm home to make the 8.

IMHO It's because they are doing nothing different style wise to recent seasons, and individual players didn't have the scope for improvement that those at say Collingwood or Hawthorn did.

I still think they will make the 8, but will be making up the numbers.

Those Crows fans writing off the Dockers, and a lesser extent the Saints are practicing the fine art of wishful thinking. Farmer back in is a huge plus for Freo. He gives them that very thing that Adelaide (and Sydney) at the moment are lacking..the surprise factor. Predicatable teams are easier to plan for and that is what the Blackbirds and Whitebirds have become. This also applies to a degree to the Bullies I reckon.

I think Adelaide can still make the eight but it won't be a walk in the football park. Even Port can make life difficult for the Crows and they are a bunch of kids (except for 'the usual suspects') who shouldn't be anywhere near it this year.

The Professor will have his work cut out with this years' experiment.

regards,

Think if you look back through the threads mate, you'll find it was one of your Port mates actually writing the Dockers off

last year the crows were favorites for the majority of the season, this year, plenty of members on this site believe the crows have no chance

maybe this will allow the crows to fly under the radar, plenty of people on this site have said that they doubt whether other clubs will be looking over their shoulder worried about the crows

if this is the case it may be to the crows advantage
