Hawks v Pies

3/4 time and a cracker of a game. As a Hawks fan i think we are being flattered by the scoreline. Collingwood have been better but the Hawks are somehow 5pts up. Should be a great last term and i hope the Hawks can hang on but i reckon the Pies might prove to be a little too good.

Hooray, 7 out of 8! :) Frantic, non stop match it was, inaccuracy costing Collingwood again.

What a great game of footy. Maybe i'm slightly biased cos my team one but it was a beauty.

Hawks 16 points up and Buddy Franklin drops a sitter of a chest mark. Ball goes down the other end and Collingwood score. Two more goals in succession and the Pies are in front. Unacceptable for a player of his ability. Still to get out of that was a great effort by the Hawks.

Great game. Hawthorn and Collingwood do play a great style of footy IMO. Hawks are developing a fantastic team under Clarkson and I wouldn't put it past them making the Grand Final this year, although the more experienced West Coast and Geelong would be favourites. Collingwood always give 100%, but missed Rocca as a big target up forward.

Geelong are red hot and if they maintain their form are almost certs for a GF berth. West Coast are so good and with their experience it's hard to see them not being very prominent at the business end of the season. Those two are the sides to beat. Hawthorn and Collingwood are both capable of doing so on their day though.

Call me crazy but i wouldn't write off the Dockers yet either

Completely agree NFC .. Restored my waning faith in football at that level ... The most enjoyable and engrossing match I've watched all year.

With so many games in Melb remaining and so many quality players to return, Collingwood could be the smokies this year.

Depending on West Coast's form, there's a chance we could see a re-match of the 1989 Grand Final!

Top 4 could be Geelong, Hawthorn, West Coast and Collingwood - that would make for a very exciting finals series if it pans out that way
In between signatures .....
