I enjoyed your post

I've made my thoughts on the 50m, it was a shocker

In regards to Perrie, he is still likely to miss another 2-3 games, if the cows build on last weeks performance and notch up wins against the Eagles and Hawks, traditionally Craigy does not like to change a winning structure.

My other concern, Perrie's knee still was not 100% prior to his shoulder injury, and shoulders can be a tough injury to recover from, and a tall needs to have full flexibility, extension and mobility in this area.

This will make it even more difficult for Perrie to win back his spot, given that the Crows forward line continues to fire, even more so, If Gill starts to put some form on the board at SANFL level...

Can anyone confirm if Gilled played on the w/end?

Thompson, great observation, I believe if we did a B&F count right now, Scotty would be in front, followed by Macca, this leads me to my next point, I watched Nash go around for Essendon last night, he is a Scotty Thompson #2 if the Crows can get their hands on him, memo to the Crows - Bring him home

On last weeks game, in the 3rd, I don't believe the Crows went played tempo footy, they just had a poor Qtr, they were second to the ball and got out ran by the Kanga's.

In regards to the second half of the year, one other hidden bonus to some of our injuries, Roo, McGregor, Stiffy, Radar, Massie and Birdman have all missed a lot of footy, so heading in to finals, these blokes should all be pretty fresh and feeling good and it may just add some edge to their performances

If Burton comes back before Perrie, and Bock, Welsh and McGregor remain fit, Perrie will be lucky to play again this year IMO.

I agree .... Perrie might end up a casualty like McGregor did last year. You don't want to drop out because of injury and have the team perform well in your absence. Personally, while I give Sarge 100% for effort, I prefer McGregor at CHF. I think McGregor is a stronger mark in a contest and is a better kick for goal.

As for Gill, I'd be surprised if he plays this year and then I think he becomes at risk of holding his spot on the list for 2008, presuming Hentschell comes back OK.

Agreed, I would much prefer McGregor over Perrie for those reasons.

I doubt Gilly will be around in 2008. I guess it depends on the outlook of Hentschel and Biglands at seasons end.

Personally, I hope we get an opportunity to see what Gill can do...

On Biglands, apparently his rehab has not missed a bit, he has suffered no set backs at all and is looking strong

he will definitely be good to go for next year, but maybe in a different role

I was referring to last year when McGregor WAS a casualty and using that example to draw a hypothetical IF the Crows happen to do well in the next few weeks while Perrie is out

I still occasionally wonder how Perrie would go at CHB, punching the ball away rather than marking might suit?!

Biglands as a key forward perhaps.
