Didnt take long for some parrott to bring up something that has very little to do with this thread.I for one dont need to be told how many go to 'our' games,Im there every week,and having a guess at it.

Don’t play the innocent card. Shouldn’t have made the comment in the first place if you didn’t want a reply.

Why would it warrant a 'reply' when I was merely stating a fact?

If you post on a public forum you are fair game for a reply whether you want one or not! That's how it works. You make a gratuitous comment you may get a gratuitous response sometimes.

Threads never stay strictly "on the point" partly because people differ about what "the point" is, as well as about the issues.

I am more than happy for some one to reply to any of my comments,but I was not aiming to get a response from that comment,it was clearly evident as the crowd figure yesterday was 43,000 my comment was correct.

I did however have some faith that my comment regarding a figure for a 'sold out' Adelaide home game did not have to be taken as a dig or a barb in their direction.Perhaps it was not my comment,but the manner in which it was interpreted?
