Got this one wrong on my tips. I thought that Johnno Brown would carve up the Bombers again. Both will miss the eight IMO.

Agree

At least the Lions had no pre-season top 4 expectations

Freo = very disappointing

It would not be the easiest thing to be a Freo supporter, still as a Panther supporter I get some of how they feel! :D

The Bombers are an interesting one, without taking anything away from them, I think that the Lions are not playing great which makes their performance maybe seem better than it is, yet they have next week to prove that wrong!

Cats, well another one in the bank towards qualifying for a shot at the finals, lets hope we keep it going for another week!

The Lions are still rebuilding their side and I'm not surprised that they can't maintain their good early season form. Young players can be a little inconsistent. Still the match against the Bombers is the first match the Lions haven't really haven't been competitive. Still the more games we can get into our young players the better.

Brown definitely needs some support in the forward line. I don't think playing a four man forward set-up, in the hppe of creating a loose man in the midfield is really working. It might if Bradshaw was there or at least we had another tall such as Charman or Mitch Clark. Johnson who was doing well in a forward pocket also missed the game and he was a loss as well.

Perhaps Wood can come into the side to ruck with MacDonald and Charman move down the forward line. Hopefully Johnno will be back as well.
