Teams on the rise - Essendon, Brisbane, Carlton, Hawthorn
The return of the "big 3" and a 3-peat premier .... bring on 2009!

2 premierhip coaches PAGAN and MATTHEWS thank you very very much
for playing footy as it should be played
Both coaches have several flags and you can see why
The players learn how to play football and teams like this will have the
opportunities to fast track into being good teams
I hope LAIDLEY and CLARKSON[no afl flags as coaches] are watching and learning off the master coaches.

Hear it all the time. How many will make the 8? That's the only barometer. Good game tonight, though.

Spot on, Macca.Macca19 wrote:Brisbane have a team full of misfits but geez theyve come together well. At the end of last year I thought they would be wooden spoon this year, then I did a prediction thing and they won quite afew games.
If you look at whos making impact with them, apart from the regular 5-6 players, there is:
Adcock - pick 33
Fixter - PS pick
Merrett - pick 30
Patfull - pick 56
Richitelli - Pick 61
Roe - Rookie list
Sherman - pick 45
Stiller - rookie list
Begley - rookie list
Add that to the well known group of Black, Power, Brown etc. and theyve done well so far this year.
