Not only is it easy wins its also an extra chance to rest and manage players.

While that is true, if Victorian clubs want to play them twice then they have to travel interstate more often, can't have it both ways.
ESS, CARL, COLL & RICH travel interstate 5 times.
GEEL, MELB, STK & WB travel interstate 6 times.
HAW 7, NM 8.
Hopefully one day we can get a valid fixture for every club.

I like that idea, 8 interstate games and 26 home games, cant wait 8)

no but it'll be two more games that their supporters don't get to see in melbourne. Bet they'll enjoy that. As it is, I'll use Essendon as an example, their interstate games are GC, GWS, FREO, PORT & ADEL. So three of their away games are pretty well ticked off as wins.
If they want to play them twice so much, if it's that unjust then they can sell two home games to the GC & GWS under the veiled premise that they have a strong desire to grow interest in the northern states.
Can't have it both ways

I reckon if they could do that to guarentee 2 games against GWS an GC i reckon they would do it!

Could be the difference between a home final and top 4 spot or final 8 spot.

I feel Collingwood are well placed. They looked like crap earlier in the season but they are starting to find there mojo now. They'll probably get beaten this week but they will come good when it counts.

I also have my team West Coast up there as well for a crack at it. But also how can you go past the crows at the minute.

So really the premier could come from any of West Coast, Collingwood, Adelaide and I'll even through in Hawthorn in as well

I think it's pretty hard to split WC, AD, CW, SYD, CARL, ESS & Hawks. Maybe Cats as a smokey. Some have had huge injuries, some still will, some have already had a slump, some still may. Finals pressure and experience mayl be very telling this year.

And the Hawks for the Flag for me.

Collingwood are starting to look better each week. I had them getting done this week easily as I thought they were just out on there feet with the injuries. But they are looking better.

Looks like Tarrent will need to come back in next week for O'Keeff. Bad luck to the young fella in that one. He was starting to look alright. So with Tarrent, Reid and Swan to come back in soon, they will only start to get better.

Injuries to some of the top teams are huge this year, WC, Carlton and Collingwood are all doing very well to keep winning.

Cant see Collingwood and West Coast not finishing 1 and 2. So on that basis they are my tip to play off in the GF.

maybe also take into account that the teams with a lot of injuries may also be hit with the same players not recovering well or returning too soon from injury. There's only so much depth each club has for so long.
