young players are taught this at their later stages in junior footy, so I have no problem just need to get better at tackling

WTF? What young players are ever taught this crap?

Young players are taught the basics. I've never heard a junior coach instruct a kid to "drop your knees when being tackled and lift your arms up, so you get a free kick for a high tackle".

Any coach teaching junior players to lure free kicks for high tackles should get clubbed in the face by a pan-sized schnapper.

When I was playing under 18s the coach said when ya arms are pin lift them up so the tackle slides up high.

Smart footy. Get the footy before them and you don't have an issue.

Joel Selwood is very quickly ruining his reputation. Haven't seen someone put on a bigger act and play for a free since Wanganeen.

Selwood punches Raines in the face and Raines decks him! Great to see.

Luke Darcey is a knob, "Selwood just gave Raines a little backhand". No, he punched him in the face!

Yep. Selwood wasn't expecting that. Didn't know where he was either.
