Fraser Gehrig

Talk on the national game

Fraser Gehrig

Postby Punk Rooster » Sun May 28, 2006 10:34 pm

Watching him play today, I realised he's one of those players I watch a game for- it will be a sad day when he retires, as the game will be poorer for it (*disclaimer- very hungover/minimal sleep, may be easily impressed). With his willingness to go the knuckle over the most minor matter, he certainly brings something to the game. Also the mullett/rats tail add a bit of character. Not sure what he was like with WCE, but I reckon he's just got better (& angrier- too many disco biscuits?) with age.
Dennis Cometti remarked about Fraser in his early years- "A player in need of a nick-name"

I love watching Big Fraser wheel around looking for his next victim, but sadly,he has never really gone the full thrash at some one,ie:Rhys-Jones or Muir style.Wouldn't that be a treat to watch,I know, can we organise Big Fraser to get in a ring with Greg Williams and flog the living......er calm down Booney.

Is this guy seriously got anger management problems or what?

Also a 1 match ban is pathetic taking into acoount that it ws a blatant strike, unprovoked and his history of similar incidents.

What reasoning could the afl give to only offer him 1 game? I bet my house St Kilda take the offer!!!!

No, champions support their team mates.
