Early Centrebet backing for Bombers, Cats!

Punters have rallied early behind Essendon and Geelong ahead of round three in the AFL! Bets of up to $3,000 have been wagered on the unbeaten Bombers at $1.42 to beat arch-rival Carlton ($2.80), while Geelong has had wagers of up to $2,000 placed on them at $1.40 to beat the struggling Demons ($2.90).

“Punters believe this is no false dawn at Essendon after the troubles of recent years – and they’re not about to come undone against a side they yearn to beat,” Centrebet’s Neil Evans said.

“The Cats too are a free-running side, and the money early is a great indicator they have too many scoring guns for Melbourne.”

In the Western Derby, West Coast has opened a $1.80 favourite to topple Fremantle ($2.00), while the Swans are a $1.42 favourite to bring the Lions ($2.80) impressive run to an end.

In premiership betting, the Swans are now the best-backed team, with nearly $25,000.00 wagered outright and have firmed to $6.75 behind West Coast ($4.50).

You wouldn't touch it if you were a punter but here's some betting advice: Wait until I come up with my 'REB's Rubbish' for round 3 and pick the other team and you'll win for sure.
