NEW AFL RULES ??? I LIKE THEM

Didn't see much of the footy over the weekend. Did watch Fri night and a hopeless decision by the umpire in the last term giving St Kilda a game winning goal due to this new interpretation of hands in the back. It's a dumb rule which adds nothing. Why not stick to the push in the back rule which has been around forever.

I'm not aware that Melbourne were in any position to win the match in the last quarter. They were abysmal.

It's quite simple - use your body to manipulate the position of your opponent. You can't place a hand on your opponent's shoulder. It's no different.

Just saw a replay and it was actually near the end of the 3rd. I think it put Saints 5-6 goals up and was the game breaker IMO.

How about;

Scragging delays attacks and allows flooding. Stopping scragging will stop flooding - and of course there will be more scoring as already mentioned.

what about the holding the ball rule....FFS..... anyone who can hail a cab can now play and dominate AFL...... I am now following the NRL....Go the Rabbitohs......... AFL has become to soft...... Well done to the rule makers on F$#$#ing up a good game!!!!!
