I dunno check this list, I'll have to go check my physiology texts but from the deep dark recesses of my cerebral cortices my understanding is that an epidrual is a nerve blocker that prevents the transmision of a nerve impulse aross the neural synapse.

There is such a thing known as a theraputic exemption where if you have a medical conditions that limits performance you can apply as an athlete to take a banned substances to assist in the healing process for that injury. Without knowing too much about it my guess is that therapeutic examption would last for a period of time whilss the athlete is recoverying from the injury and a washout period would be required before they return to sport/

See if you can see it on this list document linked to this page.....http://www.wada-ama.org/en/prohibitedlist.ch2
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

not spin doctoring just read somewhere that roo had a epidural injection to ease the pain in his back/neck they give this to some women when they are in labour and cant take the pain any more it is spinal block which numbs the nerve system pending where it is injected eg.most women in labour have it injected just above there butt therefore numbing them from that point down.if roo had this to relive the pain in his neck no wonder he is bed ridden he would feel nothing from his neck down .. get better roo we need you :D :D :D :D
