Dean Bailey sacked

I had this weeks game locked in the memory bank after Carlton's comments in defeating Melbourne. With all the crap that has gone on this weekend and today, those comments may be forgotten.

The comments were spot on. Carlton aren't the only team to say that about 'em...

Although they got hammered, seriously they should of had this meeting on say Tuesday or a Wednesday. Christ let the shit settle first before making a call. Of course he was going to be replaced next season, but whats the point now? I would have thought the dees would have cooled down before hand before going into a meeting. Oh well thats 2 positions up for grabs.

The only good thing to come out of this is that a coach has finally admitted to tanking.

If Todd Viney were to keep the job, he could be coaching his son next year (or year after?). Has that ever been done in the last 40 years?

totally agree tsg...finally something the afl have denied for years has come to light...we all knew it was going on,but not the brass in the afl high house????

not sure if viney would get the job, but maybe...possibly denis pagan was the last to coach his son at afl level.

Dennis Pagan and his son in the late 90s

Did Ted Whitten coach his son in the 70s???

John Kennedy Snr coached against his son when he was at North Melbourne in the 80s.

Terry Wallace and Nathan Brown....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
