3. Thompson
2.Sloane
1. Johncock (Still gets a vote despite only playing 1 1/2 quarters. Considered giving him 3 anyway. Once Johncock went off the game turned immediately)
Others in best were Petrenko, Jacobs, Jaensch, Tippett

Johncock and Jaensch would've easily been on the list if they played full games, as they were both dominating.

3.Petrenko
2.Jacobs
1.Johncock
VB, Reilly very dishonourable mentions and non existent in the game. Actually I take that back. They were noticable but, only for the mistakes and non efforts they put in.

On a side note. Are the AFC regretting the choice to give VB the captaincy?

SD, I think you are looking at VB with a jaundiced eye, or a short memory.
There have been times this season when he has taken crucial contested marks and been a very productive player.
Johncock and others have been patchy, too, and Thompson has probably been our most consistent, though, I agree, clanger prone..

But as a leader to be making silly decisions I feel can be prevented out weighs the positive. Don't get me wrong he has done some very good things but they are not sitting in my short memory ;)
Yes Johncock has been patchy but, his positives have outweighted his negatives.

I reckon if Johncock hadn't played this year, we would be very lucky to have won a game. Saved our arses many a time.
