Interesting this because you may remember that he was fairly big about 5 years ago and then he decided to go for a more leaner body and actually dropped muscle to be more athletic (apparently his teammates were calling him "Calista Flockhart and "Sticks" at training) so to me this would indicate that he will be playing out of the goalsquare and will only play on the ball in very limited bursts, which was already starting to happen anyway.

Serious analysis in a Nathan Buckley thread. What are you thinking?

I agree with you. Rocca, Cloke and Buckley will be their key attackers.

Which is why they won't make the eight. I reckon they'll miss Didak's creativity early in the season. As they get two cracks at Carlton and Essendon every year, they can often burst out of the blocks with a blistering early season run. That might not happen this season and they might be in a similar boat to Geelong last year..just outside the eight and being a game or two behind for the majority of the season.

I agree with you too! Although Didak was confident a couple of weeks ago of being ready for Round 1. Buckley's role will be interesting and his footy smarts up front will surely be worth a couple of goals a game.
