Does anyone want to Captain the Blues

Postby sydney-dog » Mon Feb 12, 2007 8:55 pm

First the Fav incident in Ireland, now Whitnal and Scotland have been fined for breaking team rules and curfews

where to now for the Blues

the last two seasons they have had the #1 draft selections, should the club make an extreme statement and give it to a young player as they did with Sticks in his second year of AFL footy

Whitnal, Fav and Lappin have all had there share of off field drama's, while Stevens has not set the world alight since his time at the blues.

Maybe Kouta should get one more year, with Murphy as his deputy, with the intension of Murphy being groomed to take over the reins in 2008

A lack of leadership from the boardroom to the footy field

Bryce Gibbs, #1 Draft pick from Glenelg?
If so, I hope history doesn't repeat itself with Carlton winning the Premiership...
as they did in Stephen Kernahan's 1st season as the Blues Skipper & 2nd year at Princes Park 1987!

(Somehow, I very much doubt it though! )

Be fair to the Blues. How hard would it be to find a footballer in any club who hasn't disgraced themselves over the summer break. Footballers are idiots.
