I think so. I could see him or Talia having a crack at CHB next year. I understand McKernan has been playing off half back for South a bit.
Interesting point about the interchange rule change. This could definitely have an impact on the ruck role. Wouldn't surprise me if we see more ruck 'part timers' next year.

I have no problems in Adelaide drafting interstate players. Such has been the quantity of SA players going interstate in the last few years that the go home factor goes both ways. Matt Rendells ability to identify Dangerfield, Sloane and Ottens talents shouldnt be compromised by a want for local players. Adelaide has faith in its system to improve players and even if they cannot retain them, they should have an increased market value, ie Tyson Stenglein.
You would have to think that Steingleins football was nowhere near as good at the West Coast Eagles as it was at the Crows. Even Kane Johnson I dont think reached the same heights at Richmond as he did at Adelaide.
