not sure how many in the series but are released fortnightly

For those familiar with Serial -(and they say you should listen to Serial first) it is hosted by Rabia and two other lawyers.

Im currently into ep 3 and the more this goes on the more questions are being asked about the process.

well worth a listen.

Got through 6 or so of these yesterday/today - very good (if not the best quality though - equipment-wise)

But very easy to listen to

The new season of Serial has just started.

Its about the US soldier Bowe Bergdahl who after being rescued from the Taliban last year after 5 years captive, was charged with desertion and now faces federal prison.

You might remember his parents on the White House steps. They looked like they came straight from their Idaho cabin.

I download The History Hour podcast every Saturday night from the BBC website. It picks 4-5 issues that have occurred throughout the world in the past. You name it, everything from war, sport, music, human rights etc. have all been covered. Well worth a listen.

I've been listening to How Did This Get Made? from Earwolf.com. Funniest thing you'll listen to all year.

Also get Mike & Mike podcasts.

The Test Match Special podcasts on the BBC website are worth a listen to as well, regular shows with Phil Tufnell and Michael Vaughan and Jonathan Agnew hosting panels of journos.

Lol. 49 shades died pretty quickly but I'm currently doing another podcast, the shiva blast. It's about fantasy footy. Specifically the DT shiva promotion and relegation comp. kinda like Hogg but better :)

Downloaded a podcast from the BBC website about Hillsborough. Hosted by Kenny Dalgleish's daughter with two blokes that were in the crush that day and Phil Scraton who exposed the lies of the police. Well worth a look. The passion in all their voices is moving and particularly near the end where Scraton was describing the cost monetarily in comparison to the lives that were lost and ruined.

I've been listening to Bill Burrs "Monday Morning Podcast" and "Thursday Afternoon Just Before Friday Monday Morning Podcast" lately.

If you don't like the C word, or being called the C word, probably don't listen to it.

Bill is one of my all time favourite comedians, and his take on life is very similar to my own, so I relate with a lot of what he says.

I've been listening to The Album Club.
The podcast is a bunch of music enthusiasts looking back at classic albums of the past.
The guys are all mid 30s to early 40s, so the music probably fits the interests of most of the posters here.
I find the contributors to be well-read on the topic but not authoritative enough to be distant. Occasionally they annoy me with their observations, but generally it's a good fun listen.

Just started listening to The Pat McAfee Show.

Pat just retired from the NFL. He was one of the best punters at the time, but he left to pursue a career in stand up comedy.

His show is a "sports" show for Barstool, but it's very light hearted. He also has a sports tv show in the works.

In line with the Pat McAfee Show I've mentioned earlier, former Green Bay Packer and Cincinnati Bengal linebacker A J Hawk has his own podcast called the HawkCast.

Last night I watched the one where he had Pat McAfee on, and also the Jordy Nelson one. Great to get an insight into the life of NFL players off the field.

He also interviews a lot of different types of people. It's not all sport.
