I love a good podcast, particularly if I can listen to it when I'm out taking my dog for a walk.

Anyone got any podcasts they like to download?

I'm always up for Kevin Smith's work.

Also, there's an Australian radio podcast called Conversations - it's a bit like This American Life. Enjoyable hour of conversations with people on a variety of topics.

Anyone else got any tips for me?

I listen to a ton of podcasts. A lot of poker ones that probably won't interest many but I'll list the ones I do like.

Media watch -abc show

Ted talks - everybody knows ted talks. They are awesome. A bit preachy sometimes but the best are excellent

History of world war 2 podcast. The most in depth podcast out there. 100 episodes in and he has only just got to the us declaration

Infinite monkey cage. Brian cox talking about science in a panel/comedy format. Yes I am a nerd

The bugle. John Oliver's satire show. Really funny

Dan carlins hardcore history. A unique take on history, tries to out you in the shoes of the people living in the time. One of my favourites but it only comes out about once every 3 months.

Dr Karl's great moments in science. 5 minute clip on something interesting.

Recently started listening to joe rogan. Quite like it but he puts a whole lot of material out, maybe too much for me to jump in.

Thinking poker
Two plus two pokercast
Pokernews podcast
Tournament poker edge podcast
Mid stakes living
Tournament poker edge live

The only one I listen to is Scriptnotes.

Screenwriting podcast hosted by Hollywood hotshots John August and Craig Mazin.

Hell, even then I rarely listen to it. More likely to read the transcript instead...

I listened to the first episode of "serial" today.

Basically it is a crime procedural podcast, the main character and narrator is a journalist who is investigating a murder 15 years before and is convinced there is something wrong about the case. You basically follow along with her as she tells you how she investigated stuff.

If the first episode is anything to go by it will be awesome. Apparently it is the fastest growing podcast in history.

I've listened to the first ep on the weekend. Will have to listen to the rest pretty quickly so as not to forget what's happened. Fast pace, well narrated, I like it.

so for those who have finished it.....what is your verdict?

interesting to note that there is a 2nd series. Does anyone know what it is yet or is to be announced?

Not guilty.

There's too much uncertainty about the time/place for mine. I can't say he did do it, but I can't say he didn't. Given you have to presume innocence, you'd have to stick with the not guilty verdict. The fact that they weren't able to come up with DNA evidence also makes me think it's not necessarily him. Adnan's offsider (can't recall his name) who claimed he helped dump the body sounded dodgy as. He sounded like he wanted to big note himself rather than speaking the truth. The entire thing about the phone booth outside the shopping mall??? That was just dodge city. Smacks of someone making up stories.

About the podcast itself - well constructed and the ability to put timelines together appealed to me. If I was in the jury that approach would make more sense to me to enable me to make a decision. I can't wait for series 2.

The dodgy guy was Jay

who recently came out and stuck by his story.

I can't help but think Jay had a connection with the guy who was wrongly released on Jan 1st.

I agree with everything that has been mentioned that you could only go with Not Guilty

I tend to think adnan is still involved somehow but so is jay, more than just helping bury the body. But I can't work it out.

Jay, that's the one. I still reckon it's the guy who got released in Jan as well. Seems a bit far fetched that Adnan would do it IMO.

I tend to agree with the expert who came in and said "if they're innocent, they don't make up stories as to where they were, they really don't remember". Adnan just kept saying "I don't know". If someone came to me today and said where were you on the 21st of December last year at 2.15, I wouldn't have a clue where I was.

Finally got around to downloading the 5 available podcasts for Undisclosed.

not sure how many in the series but are released fortnightly

For those familiar with Serial -(and they say you should listen to Serial first) it is hosted by Rabia and two other lawyers.

Im currently into ep 3 and the more this goes on the more questions are being asked about the process.

well worth a listen.
