I'm off with my wife and mother to see Hannah Gadsby tomorrow night. Should be fun.

Late Night letters and Numbers is what I saw tonight and it's absolute GOLD. The last show is tomorrow night though.

If you've seen or are a fan of Letters and Numbers on SBS, go and do yourself a favour tomorrow night if you're in town - you won't be sorry, plenty of laughs!

it's a late one though, starts at 10.50pm

I didn't end up going either, was crook and had to give it a miss.

I'm in Melbourne for a bit next month, might go have a look at him at the Comedy Festival over there.

Took the Pseudomites along to see "Squaring the Wheel".

Good for kids, and good for adults with a love of Rube Goldberg-esque contraptions. 8)

Piff the Magic Dragon. ******* lol'd hard and the magic stuff was pretty cool as well. Pulled a 10/10 in a short skirt out of the crowd to help for most of the show, which probably pleased almost every bloke in the room.

Had a great night at the Comedy Pub Crawl.

A Scottish compare at PJ's introduced an Egyptian comedian who was quite good, then to Sugar night club around the corner for another act, to The Exchange / Producers for a British bloke singing some very funny "dirty ditties".

We were expecting to see 4 acts at 4 pubs, but after act 3 at Producers we were told that our final venue, The Bunka ( back room of the Austral ) would actually include anther 4 comedians and a new compare, who did a few little bits, made the night 4 venues with 9 acts.

I'll be doing it again next year for sure.

i went thursday night with a mate, planned on seeing Tommy Little but he was sold out.
So we ended up seeing Eddy Ifft, was basicly a stab in dark and just a quick look in the guide at the ticket box. Turned out to be a ripper of a show, enjoyed it more then sam simmons.
Basicly he cracked jokes and talked about all the things blokes 18-25 would talk shit about. It was morally wrong and he touched on some things people would find politicly incorrect but I thought it was hilarious!
Definately reccomend seeing him next year if he comes back.

I saw Eddy Ifft on Friday - best show I've seen this year - I was in stitches most of the show.

***BUMP****

This time of year has crept upon us yet again.

Anyone had a look at the programme?

One that stands out for mine is the sitcom theme song sing-a-long. Not even a week before the fringe programme was released, this exact subject was a topic of discussion on Facebook by CK, myself and others and voila! a Fringe show appears. Almost like they made it just for us

I went Saturday and last night, also have 4 shows booked for the Sunday Night of the long weekend.
Best of the Ed at PJ OBriens was ordinary.
Saw East End Cabernet and it was OK.
Seen Abandoman twice, these Irish comics who make up hip hop tunes based on the crowds stories, absolutely fantastic and the funniest thing I've been to yet, I highly recommend it.
Seeing The Magnets, Eddie Ifft , Sex With Animals and Hot Dub Time Machine on Mar 9 but might go to a few other shows on the spur of the moment too.
This year was the first time Ive been to the Garden of Unearthly Delights, love the place, great set up and great shows, it would be a sin to live in Adelaide and not visit the place at least once, noticing heaps of people from overseas who have made the trip.

Went with the missus and kids to see Frank Woodley on Friday night. Eldest son wanted tickets for his 5th birthday as he loves Lano and Woodley, but the kids were bored spitless during the show (think they required the slapstick comedy that came with the TV shows).
I don't mind Woodley, but he basically did a stand up act and he comes up WELL short in that department IMHO.

Going to see the Sitcom Theme song singalong tonight - apparently show is sold out, so that's a good sign!
