Walter White wasn't a peripheral character. ;-)

I'm sad also. What a way to go out though. Don't normally watch tv drama again, but I think in a years time, I'll do it again.

Man they did a fantastic job with the last episode.

Have to say I was disappointed
The Sopranos was such a black ending whereas this ended up predictable
Just saying.....
Music was great though

I will start watching it again in 6 months - what a fantastic series

It's the first time a series finale hasn't left me disappointed.

Probably because the writers got to wrap up the series on their own terms, rather than the typical executives/actors pulling the pin to force a finale.

Loved everything about the final ep except the rigged car scene which was absurd in so many ways. Liked how in the last 2 eps everyone got an appropriate send off - even Badger and Skinny Pete! No loose ends...

The final episode - at first, I thought it was great, tying up pretty much all the loose ends, but after thinking about it I think it really makes a hero out of Walt at the end and I don't think his character deserved to have everything work out so smoothly after everything he'd caused.

I was pretty happy with the finale. My favourite tv show, and hands down the best I have seen (acting, writing, etc).
