The Slap

More angst than a teenage diary.

Apart from the actual slap scene it was a bit of a yawn.

Hugo appalled me. All those swings with the cricket bat and all he hit was fresh air. Number eleven if ever I saw one.

Not like Junior from Problem Child. Even little b@st@rd took out a whole little league baseball team. Swing batter, swing!

Wanted to slap the adults more than the kid, particularly Melissa George.

Dying for Anthony Hayes to say to Lex "The Swine" Marinos:

"Money on the fridge, wog".

Didn't watch it, but I'll be 'one of those people' who prefer his novels to the on-screen adaptations.

really like this show, beats the sh##t out of some other rubbish on australian tv.
well worth a watch.
good to get a drama, which shows the different peoples perspectives and how other people may view associates lives.

I tried last night, I really did. But I'd rather watch a webcam from Alf's rape dungeon.

Yea I enjoyed it too. Gee this show has split opinion fair down the middle! lol

Regardless of whether you like it or not, nice to see someone have a crack at making something a bit different.

find this comment interesting.... Why would you bother trying if you don't like it?
did you try to like it last week and the week before?
Let me guess, you will try next week too?

keen to read the book it's based on.
