Anyone else try to make sure they catch this on Tuesday nights?

Good light hearted wrap up of the world in sports.

Mike Gibson must rival Richie Benaud for the longest period of time with out a change in hair style....

I've watched it religiously for years. IMO the best sports show on TV.

I like it most of the time, can really depend on who's on the panel.

Billy Birmingham is always good value and most of the journos aren't bad.
Cringe when Brian Taylor's on as he thinks he's an expert on just about anything.
Fortunately Peter Fitzsimons is no longer on the show.

Loved the episode last year when racing identity Kenny Calendar was a guest, promoting his book.
Billy went to town taking the piss out his lisp, as on the Wired World of Sports album

I watch it. Good show, like the fact they cover lots of sports and most of them have a fair idea what they are talking about.

Last show of the year tonight and last ever for Mike Gibson after 16 years.
Billy Birmingham provided a great voice-over intro to the show and they had a recap of the year's events.
Show will continue next year with a different host.

He makes the show. Strange decision. Like a lot of people, its the comedic take on sports that attracted me to watching it and this will be lost.

He also had strong opinions. I actually had a lot of respect for his opinion and the fact he wasnt afraid to say what he thought. Now it's just a show with a bunch of know it Alls from the media putting forward the company line. BB stopped that from being a regular occurrence

Birmingham and Gibson might be the darlings of the Baby Boomer generation but Squires and Shirvo represent the younger and more energised demographic that the show needs to aim for if it wants to survive. I've never been able to cope with Birmingham on tv. I love his work on CD - genius really - but why an old bloke like him has to have two earrings a whimpy goatee and a ridiculous excuse for a pony tail is just too "look at me, look at me" for my liking. I think the new team will do well
