Seinfeld

Postby CK » Sun Jan 04, 2009 5:43 pm

Got the full series recently and have been working through it in the off-season. Curious to know what are the favorite episodes of the fans out there? Seeing some of these for the first time since they originally aired - with Channel 10 (and now Nine) not screening certain episodes in prime time - has been great fun again. Even some of the quotes still work into folklore.

"For fifty bucks, I'll put my face in his soup and blow" *

The Contest - "I'm out!"

"Serenity now!"

"It's not Moops, you idiot! It's Moors"

"Who keeps the stub?!?"

(and for the trivia buffs - what is the only episode whose title does NOT start with the word "The"?)
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Timely thread CK - today I just watched all the extras from series 1-9.

Favourite eps...

The Boyfriend (baseball, spitting and the JFK assassination)

The Contest

The Library (with Phillip Baker Hall as the Dragnet inspired 'Bookman')

The Marine Biologist

The Opera (Crazy Joe Davola)

The Soup Nazi

(and for the trivia buffs - what is the only episode whose title does NOT start with the word "The"?)

Male Unbonding.

Series 1, Ep 2.

No doubt the last two series suffer without Larry David...

"The sea was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli"

Agreed with all of the above + The marine biologist, the one with Kenny's chicken shop, actually I really find it hard list favourite episodes as I every single one of them is enjoyable.

Don't reckon I've watched more than a couple of Seinfeld episodes in their entirety. The Festivus episode is not one of those couple, but despite this I'll have to pimp for the Festivus episode as the best. Several regulars on this board will appreciate my reasons for this choice, and will jot down the opening sentence of this post to use in this year's Airing of Grievances. 8)

When Elaine goes into business just selling muffin tops. Newmann comes to the rescue as the cleaner. Like harvey kietel in pulp fiction.
