It was fantastic Boon! You will love it, thank you so much for posting the info about them. Those blokes nailed it, they mimic the Unplugged set and did a few extra songs. I absolutely loved it, so glad I went :)

Excellent news! Can't wait now.

Many people there, what's the venue like?

There was about 25/30 of us I reckon. The theatre is pretty small, at a guess it would seat about 80 max. The small theatre works so well though made the set sound so good. They played the in between song audio from the original Unplugged set and they even dress the same. It was as close to being there back in 1992 as you could probably get.

Might even go again tonight. Crowd was great last night, bit over half full ( people in the room ) and a bit over half full ( drinks in each crowd member )!

Plenty of us in full voice, I think the band enjoyed it too. The singers sister was in the crowd and she got a rousing reception when he thanked her for introducing him to the likes of Pearl Jam. Sarah Sarah Sarah! :D

Very nice mate.

When I gave the chick my ticket to get in she asked my how I heard about the show. Told her a forum, a bloke posted the info about it in the Fringe section we have. She asked what kind of forum and I gave SA footy a decent plug haha.

I do love how they dress up the same as PJ did, especially the lead guitarist and singer. They just nail it.

Did they play Better Man last then Rearview mirror last as an encore? I thought their last song was going to be Yellow Ledbetter, that would of been awesome but Better Man was great.

Finished up with Rear view mirror and then Better Man to finish. I reakon the people in the other theatre would have been wondering WTF was going on when Better Man was played, I don't think the singer did much of the work on that at all as the crowd took control of it.

As usual was brilliant, one hour of non stop laugh out loud moments, was $25 a ticket and was in the umbrella revolution which was in the garden. Couldn't have asked for a better V Day. Well worth it!!!

Also the $6.00 15 minute shows in the garden were all great. Favourite of these was Rubberband man, remembering you only pay $6 it is well worth the fifteen minutes of laughter.

Fringe time is probably my favourite part about living in SA.

Will try and go to the garden another 4-5 times before the season finishes.

Going to see this on Friday night, glad you rated it. Makes me excited for it

Saw Stephen K Amos the other night, bloody hilarious. Most of his gig is just playing off the crowd, he does it real well. I highly recommend him.
