Couldn't really get into the Dahmer series. Have watched a few doco's on him so knew the story fairly well. So for me the show was very slow and didnt really offer any surprises or any knew information for me.

Have you watched Mindhunter? That will get you in

Think I will give this one a go. Reviews are pretty good.

I said to my missus, it's confronting and bizarre yet fascinating at the same time.

If true, his parents need to be held somewhat accountable for his actions too.

Next level hey?

Seems a little far fetched at times, like when he got pulled over pissed on his way to the dump.

I watched American Factory last night after being recommended it from "Sh1t cars of Australia" FB page. Interesting viewing.

It's about a Chinese automotive glass manufacturer setting up a factory in the US and the problems the Chinese factor supervisors encounter with the way US runs it's factories. The dynamics between the Chinese and the Americans is fascinating.

Really enjoying Apache The Life of Carlos Tevez.

I have a significant interest given he was my favorite all time soccer player at West Ham (WHUFC)

In subtitles the Netflix series based on the true story covers Carlos early childhood growing up in the Argentinean villas (think Brazillian favellas). Part football story, part crime/drug story, part romance story I've really enjoyed the first few episodes with the season growing to what feels like a great finale.

Worth a look.

The Stranger

Based on the police sting operation around Daniel Morecombe

Didn't mind it. Was filmed here in SA.

Bad Santa 2 came out yesterday.

I got through about half of it last night, I've been getting up around 4:30am so it's hard to get through a movie in one hit, some expected hilarious scenes in it.

Opening few minutes was a crack up.

Watched this over the weekend......really enjoyed. Plenty of laugh out loud moments.

I don't recall Bad Santa being as politically incorrect as this one

Really enjoying 'Alice in Borderlands' at the moment.

Similar theme to Squid Games but imo far better.

The dubbing is pretty ordinary but the story, acting etc is that good it doesn't take away from the series.

Worth a watch.

I watched All Quiet on the Western Front two weekends ago now and loved it, pretty brutal movie and it's probably one of the better war movies I've seen for its brutal trench warfare scenes, I think it's better than Dunkirk and 1917 for example.

Reading about the story I found that's the latest movie is the third adaptation based on the original 1929 novel.

All three are very good

Try and find the 1930 one which is probably 2nd to the new one
